... of learning how to be a proffesional jewlery maker.
So I started to learn some proffesional course. It was too short and I don't know if I'll be able to continue it in a future. But it was real fun, to cut silver, to solder, to saw and in the edn to create something that looked like a ring.
It was two weeks ago. Today I tried to bring back my forgotten idea - to do bracelets with old coins. The final result is not so fine as it looked in my mind.
I've used old coins (~1923 Polish & ~1950 Belgian) found on the flea market, glass & ceramic beads, florists wire. The glass beads are too big, they should be more flat.
I don't know what os legal where, in my country I can't destroy the emblem of my State (The eagle), so I drilled small holes in this coins gently. It is my kind of art.

More bracelets from beads & patterns
The first one from the top have her's pattern in two posts back - real 4-colour version:
The second is a multicolour version :)
Third & fourth has pattern like this:
5, 6, 7
8
9 have (6 beads in a row)= (1white + 5black)*4 + (1white + 2black + 1small_pearl + 2black)
Replica of a replica of the Renesmee's Bracelet :P
I didn't know about the existence of such a bracelet, I made it to order, because in our country is hard to get it and transport costs far outweigh its value. A friend asked me to make a binding version of this pattern.
Renesmee's Bracelet - originally appeared in the movie Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2
To make it the best option is to use a loom, can be one for a flat beaded bracelets. We also need yarn in selected colors and thick needle. And that's all.
Making this bracelet was such a fun, so I made three copies in three sizes.

Ceramic simple bracelet
This bracelet is made from white ceramic pellets and some metal connectors. The pellets (fi 22cm) are very durable, elegant and perfect for the b&w clothing.
Holes in all pellets were drilled by a diamond drill in the jar with water, otherwise they could break.
This pellets were made with the same method as pellets for my keychains. Here is my favourite :)
Of course this pellet, is a little bit bigger and put into a nickel-plated ring.
& something unrelated ... blue butterfly caught in the clover:

Ceramic keychains & a bracelet for a friend
So I make up the backlog :)
Keychains made of porcelain pellets (bone china) with fired ceramic decals, all fitted in nickel rings.
*production technology is restricted, but will share the inspiration for this: *
Letters come from cuttings of existing ceramic decal, their backgrounds and the so-called crop marks, CMYK colours.
I'm still lerning this ceramic issues, so I'll try to show some of my other works another time.
Friendship bracelets made for my friend, from stranded cotton, wooden beads, with an extra fancy braid:
There are quite easy to make ... not much patience is required :D
& something pretty:

Beaded crochet blue bracelet
I've made a new bracelet, from Toho beads.
Pattern for interested people:
I made a bracelet after the necklace, with which is pictured. Creating a necklace took me a year and at the end it turned out, that the tube inside it is too rigid and necklace is medium suitable to wear. During this time I lost somewhere my source of inspiration (pattern isn't mine, so I can't show it here)...
*the tube is required for the number of beads in a row higher than ~8.
I'm sure, that there are a lot of free toutorials in the net. There is also a huge amount of patterns. A free program to create new patterns You can find here.

Golden Princess
Face, hands and foots are made from modelling clay and painted with acrylic paint. Eyes are from glass diamonds and painted also with acrylic paint.
Dress is from old paper painted with golden acrylic paint. Everything else is like in dolls in previous post.
This lady is not perfect, but I'm still learning and experimenting.
This white flower is from field in place where I'm living now, while I have my practice.

Elves or fairies
It's time of end-of-term examinations, but I've found some time to make something. From wire, modeling clay, acrylic paint,...
...cotton wool, thread...
... and fabrics:
The hardest thing in making dolls or puppets, is to start doing it. I think so.

Fairies wings
Busy weeks at the University, busy weekend at home. I have made some pairs of wings for fairies for our play - William Shakespeare: Midsummer Night Dream.
They are made from cellophane, tulle, half-steel wire and acrylic paint. They are glued with hot glue and sewn to wire. Plain cellophane in the beginning was ironed to get it's special facture.
We had a flood here in Poland, in Cracow. Now we're looking in the sky, hope it won't rain too much again, because it was dangerous.
